Amazon has finally started the Stores by Selling Products using Cashier-less Checkout Technology to Retailers

As Amazon indicated earlier that it is coming out with cashierless checkout technology that is now the reality in the US retail market. The e-commerce has now embarked upon its venture called Go Stores, which is using this technology for its other retailers. On Monday, the company has finally enabled the shoppers with this technology that the tech giant calls it as Just Walk Out. With this technology, the e-commerce giant is now able to sell out the products to retailers without having a cashier on the chair. The technology helps the shoppers to take away what the customers want and then leave without needing to stop and then stand over the checkout line.

The cameras and other sensors via the store monitor the items shoppers would take away with them would change automatically while they leave. This technology helps the shoppers to take what they want and then leave without having the need to stand without having the checkout line. The cameras and the sensors with the store monitor would help the items shoppers take away the charge and automatically leave.  Amazon has finally linked with several deals with retailers who are interested in bringing out the cashier-less technology to their stores, claimed Reuters. It is still not clear which companies are planning to use the technology or the way Amazon is seen charging them without using it.

The reps from Amazon did not immediately respond to the old request for comment. On the other side, Amazon was seen taking up a few weeks for installing this technology over its retailers’ stores that would depend upon the fact that these are executed in several new and older stores. For the current stores, Amazon is seen working with the retailer and then installing the technology while reducing the impact of the current operations. Unlike over the Amazon Go Stores, where the users have to scan and then check with the Go App over the turnstile while they are seen entering, the shoppers can scan their credit card along with the turnstile over the store with the help of Just Walk Out technology.

If the shoppers do require a receipt, they are now visiting the kiosk at the store and then have to enter their email address, Amazon. With the receipt that would come automatically with their email address, the next time when the customers visit any online store with the help of cashier-less technology. Amazon was seen coming out with the tailor made marketing giant that remain valuable insights over the consumer buying habits with the tracking activity seen over the Go Stores. But Amazon was seen saying that it will not collect any user data beyond the email of the shoppers to get the receipts. The shoppers can even think of this which that remains very much similar to the typical security camera footage claimed Amazon.
