Google Looking to Enter in E-Commerce with Counter Amazon Strategies

Amazon has remained the uncrowned king of E-Commerce business in a big way. However, we see tech giants like Google now playing to tread the same path to encounter Amazon with its anti-amazon strategy. Google is seen playing to present a much cheaper and restrictive kind of option in order to play an independent seller. It is therefore seen focusing on overdriving the traffic in order to the sellers sites and selling with their own version of different products like Amazon is seen doing. This is very much focused on driving traffic over the sites although they may not be selling out different products like Amazon has been doing for long. Since last year, we see Google has reduced the fees for many merchants along with the sellers in order to list out the wares for searching out for the results.

Google is now planning to present a much better and inexpensive option for the freelance sellers and it has also been focussing on a number of driving traffic over the sellers websites without allowing them to sell their products like how one can see Amazon doing the same. Earlier, we have seen Google coming up with the estimate of the fees required for merchants in order to allow the sellers in order to list out their wares giving free of cost for the searches. At the same time, the company is also allowing to upload a number of inventory of products in order to emerge in different search results that helps in buying over Google with the help of teaming up with Shopify that helps in generating the online stores with not less than 1.8 million merchants that are ready to sell products directly to the consumers. But as we see Google trying this for a few years in order to counter Amazon, this time it has gone a little longer.

Google now seems to come up with around 295 billion USD that has come along with the third party of Amazon in 2020. This very among of money and people that are seen buying Google in a small quantity with comparison would make one billion USD claims the founder of Marketplace Pulse, which happens to be a research company.  Amazon seems to have come out as a fixture of many lives like of several Americans. The advertising business of Amazon seems to have grown 30 percent to 17.6 Billion in the year 2020 that was seen trailing not only Google but also Facebook in the US. But during the Pandemic, one can see a number of stores are going online that seems to have embarked upon with a new opening for Google that helps in wooing the seller who seems to have felt uneasy regarding building different businesses over Amazon.

Sellers are seen often complaining about the fees regarding Amazon that seem to have done one quarter in every sale but at the same time, it talks about the cost of advertising along with adding the pressure in order to spend more time in getting the success. So, this is the area where they have tried to score the point over.  Thus Google would try to find out the loopholes and thus try out doing things as per their whims and fancies to defy Amazon.
