Lufthansa Seeks Google’s cloud tech to put the impact on flight delays

The Germany based company, Lufthansa is now relying over the infrastructure of Google Cloud.

The world’s leading Airlines Company called Lufthansa is back in the news and this time for partnering the cloud unit of Google in an effort to reduce the impact of the flight delays along with other irregularities as seen on its passengers. The Germany based company, Lufthansa is now relying over the infrastructure of Google Cloud for bringing the disparate IT systems along with the data on processes including the aircraft replacement and the crew scheduling found in the unified platform.

The key objective of the company is to optimize its optimization during the flight disruptions that are caused extreme weather conditions or congestions. The staff of the Lufthansa company is seen relying on the operations platform that was powered by Cloud Tech Company to embark upon the suggestion for putting over the flight plan back over the track. A team of software engineers will be seen onsite with the airlines IT team and the operations experts in developing the test for the new platform of the company.

With the help of combining the Cloud Technology of Google with Lufthansa operational expertise one can be seen driving the digitization of our operation added further claimed the executive board member called Detlef Kayser. He said that it will help in finding out the possible flight irregularities even earlier and thus execute the counter measurements at the nascent stage. As per reports, more than 145 million passengers were seen flying with German Aviation Company the previous year with the record number for the company. But at the same time the company has faced the industrial action from their staff member leading to the cancellations of many flights.

Thomas Kurian the CEO of Google Cloud while talking about the said collaboration claimed that it would render the two companies with good amount of opportunities to revolutionize the upcoming future of the airline operations. The US based tech giant is now investing huge money in Europe in the Airline Company. While talking about the same, the company has invested a whopping 3 billion Euros in this domain that further is meant to expand the date center of the company all across the region. With this the company claims that the cloud business is now growing huge in Europe when compared to other regions. Cloud Computing that primarily deals with things like Data Storage has emerged out as a key battleground for many tech companies like Amazon and MS, it will certainly going to dominate in the current market. He further added saying that the decision of Google to go with the Airlines Company, it is all set to go high in the market.
