Google Maps can track your whereabouts using the iPhone or Android based phone and it keeps the details on your Timeline showcasing everywhere you have been. This simply include the creepy level of details like what you have left the work once you reach home and the right route that takes you home along with the pictures of the locations you have come across in your way. Even if you are walking, driving or traveling on a train or metro, everything is recorded on your Google Maps.

If you check the history, you would come across the location you have visited the place. First of all, you need to delete everything which would appear in Google Maps, which can be done both for your iOS or Android based devices. All you need to do is to open the Google Maps on your phone and then tap over your profile picture seen on the top right. Then choose your data in maps followed by choosing the option of seeing and deleting the activity. Now, hit the menu button over the top right over the settings and choose delete the location history to see things for working for you. In case if you want to showcase the same on your Timeline, you can do it by tapping over the app and then choose the option called Your Timeline followed by joining the three dots by choosing the same from Settings and Privacy.
