The healthcare companion that is personal is Catalia Healths platform for engagement’s face. Well be talking about best practices which drive her discussions and the software calculations. Shes made to assist patients with chronic disease management’s challenges and will be rolled out the year to help a group of patients handle the medication part of their treatment. Mabu was designed to be friendly and approachable and is fairly straightforward with regards to the robotics. She isn’t mobile, but can make eye contact is capable of gestures with her eyes and head and while carrying on a dialogue with someone. She holds a tablet she uses to communicate information. The name Mabu is short for a word meaning to mabudachi and blink mabutaki, or friend. The Catalia Health staff revisited the name of our new health assistant for months, going about hundreds of names. We liked a name which would have something to do together with her eyes since we know that’s a key piece of capturing attention.
We were also looking for something distinctive And, rather than countless other words we believed or believed we coined, Mabu does not pop up as an existing product. Over the next few months we’ll be launching the first application together with two of our pharma customers. This one will assist a certain group of patients take their medications, talk through their challenges at doing so, and connect them together with their pharmacist when beneficial. Regular discussions between Mabu and the patient let’s learn enough about each person and their therapy to provide tailored help to stay with their medication regime.
