As per the recent buzz, Twitter is now experimenting newer ways to combat fake news and misinformation, which comes from people like politicians and public figures. The news came out in the form of a leaked video that was sent to a local media channel called NBC News. Later confirmed this news appearing on the leaked demos that was then seen remaining accessible to the publicly available website. This is perhaps the first possible iteration of a new policy that was seen targeting the misinformation as it intends to come out soon on 5th March.

With this, the misleading info and disinformation could be found out getting posted publicly and that can be corrected directly with the tweet by seeking the fact checkers along with the journalists that seemed to have verified over the platform and thus possible seen over the other users as well who were seen participating over the new community reports claimed the demo video. It further said that they are exploring different ways to address the misinformation along with offering more context for tweets seen over Twitter claimed the spokesperson and then offer more context for tweets on the Microblogging site.

The demo with its bright red and orange badges as seen on the tweets talks about the signal that indicates harmfully misleading that remains nearly the same size when tweet is seen on its own and mostly showcased directly with the tweet that carries the lethal misinformation.  The examples of fake news and misinformation can be seen remaining in the form of false tweets that comes like a whistleblowers by House Minority Leader Keving McCarthy, R Calif who came with the false or fake news tweet. This fake news tweet coming in the form of a demo video showcased how people with wrong info about the spread of virus leads the show.

This decision to find out alternative ways to tackle misinformative videos and fake news content came in the wake of 2020 election season that is all set to join this year. On Thursday the Mayor of NYC Mr Mike Bloomber was seen running a campaign that posted an edited video was seen raising the long pause while going for the same. The previous month, Twitter was seen announcing the new policy for banning the tweets that deceptively was seen sharing synthetic or manipulated content that could cause any harm.
